Class Description

This 7 week, 18-hour classroom course is taught in January – March each year. Course fee includes textbook, charts, plotting tools, and ASA 105 certification. Cost: $595 Tuesday's, January 23, 30, February 6, 13, 20, 27, March 5 Time: 7:00pm - 9:30pm Topics Include: Reading nautical charts Taking bearings and fixes Fog navigation Tides and tidal currents Intro to rules of the road Dead reckoning navigation Correcting course for leeway and drift Prerequisite: None
