Class Description

This 7 week, 18-hour classroom course is taught in January – March each year. Course fee includes textbook, charts, plotting tools, and ASA 105 certification. Cost: $595 Thursday's, January 25, February 1, 8, 15, 22, 25, March 7 Time: 7:00pm - 9:30pm Topics Include: Reading nautical charts Taking bearings and fixes Fog navigation Tides and tidal currents Intro to rules of the road Dead reckoning navigation Correcting course for leeway and drift Prerequisite: None
